Town Vrsi is widely known for its sailors, located on a small peninsula in the northwestern part of northern Dalmatia, about 20 km from Zadar.
Today, Vrsi surface is slightly larger than 2467 ha and permanently live here around 1700 inhabitants.
One of the greatest treasure which nature has endowed Vrsi is beautiful and rugged coastline of over 30 km, which is rich in natural bays and beaches.
Vrsi includes two islands - Mišjak and Zečevo. Zečevo is special because of its low connection with the mainland which is called Prizda so during high tide, flood water, and thus at high tide Zečevo becomes an island while at low tide it is a peninsula.
